Today, the Poor Daoist comes to the altar to spread grace, for the entire religion to live in the power of the Dharma of salvation, of the Third Great Amnesty, to awaken early and open the altar to save the masses. The Poor Daoist also leaves a reminder to the entire religion, from now on to join hands to steer the boat of salvation: some take care of this, some take care of that, the broad do double, the narrow do single, the weak use tricks, the strong use force.
Day 10-11 of the Year of the Snake (December 2, 1965)
GATHER today to strive to understand the realm,
HEAVEN'S grace and the law held within the heart.
GREAT people learn to fathom the mysterious mechanism,
HOLY decree urges all to strive and seek.
Humble Daoist greets all male and female disciples.
Today, Humble Daoist comes to the altar to bestow grace, allowing the entire faith to live within the law of salvation, during the Great Three-Period Pardoning, aiming to awaken and open the altar to save the people. Humble Daoist also offers words of reminder and encouragement to the entire faith: from now on, unite efforts to steer the boat of salvation—some focus on this task, others on that; broad tasks done in pairs, narrow ones done singly; the weak use strategy, the strong use force. Each person has a duty to build the foundation of the Minh Ly Dao, to rely on oneself for liberation, and to expand and help others attain the Dao; not only receiving sacred rewards in this life, but also sharing in the mystery for countless lifetimes.
Humble Daoist exempts all disciples from formalities.
What an honor for Minh Ly! What joy for the entire faith! A moment of divine grace, a gathering once in a thousand years, let us all strive to make merit.
Humble Daoist observes that this grace advancing the Dao is a deserved reward for the spirit of cultivation and study over several decades of the entire faith. It is not only a reward for each individual but a collective reward for the Minh Ly Dao foundation. This reward is for the nation and for the future across the four seas. If the disciples grasp this important truth, not only will they receive blessings personally, but it will also overflow to everyone sharing in this honor.
The value of the Heavenly grace person is a noble honor as a sacred reward. If the wise see and understand within the eight sacred ranks, which Heaven has appointed...
